Training Module 1:
Introduction into Monitoring and Evaluation of Social Services

This training is co-organised with Institute for Social Activities (ISA)

Purpose of this training

To increase the awareness, knowledge, skills and competences about Monitoring and Evaluation in provision of social and community-based services and to get familiar in depth with the institutional set up in provision of Monitoring and Evaluation at all levels by defining rights and responsibilities of all stakeholders at local and central level. Specific learning objectives:

  • concepts of Monitoring and Evaluation in provision of social and community-based services and how they can contribute for provision of high quality social and community-based services.
  • to gain knowledge and competences about different types of monitoring and evaluation on regular basis during and after provision of social and community-based services.
  • institutional set up in provision of Monitoring and Evaluation by defining the key stakeholders involved in provision of Monitoring and Evaluation at central and local level (rights, responsibilities and scope of interventions)

Expected competences to be achieved

  • Ability to understand the content, purpose and types of Monitoring and Evaluation and make distinction between the two processes.
  • Ability to develop, manage and implement different types of monitoring and evaluation (internal and external) during provision of services;
  • Ability to understand the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders involved in Monitoring and Evaluation at all levels.

Aleksandra Georgievska

Expert with extensive experience in design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities in the area of social protection, social inclusion, inclusive labour market and inclusive and integrated education.
