The DI Coordination, Work group 5- Visibility, Information and Awareness, on the occasion of December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, is organizing joint event.

The two-day Round table “Transforming the Society: Community for All” will be held on 3 and 4 December 2020.

The objective of the event is to inform the public of the benefits for the society at large of ensuring inclusion and active participation of persons with disabilities, inform about relevant public policies aimed at promoting inclusion and active participation of persons with disabilities, and to signify the partnerships and joint efforts of actors from various sectors in promoting inclusion and active participation of persons with disabilities.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (MLSP) will organize the online round table, in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, National Coordinative Body for Implementation of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and Delegation of the European Union.

The event will be broadcasted live, with active participation from government representatives, personal testimonies from people with disabilities and their families, caregivers and representatives of projects supporting deinstitutionalization reform.
