Local Needs – Local Social Services
We have supported eight municipalities to develop Local Social Plans for improved community based social services and the establishment or expansion of social services at the local level.
People with disabilities are strong, confident and have the capacity to be involved in local communities. Therefore, as part of the National Strategy for Deinstitutionalization and the Law on Social Protection, eight municipalities developed Local Social Plans that strengthen existing and create new social services, with the participation of persons with disabilities and their families.
