Series of Trainings for Special Educators Continued in Veles and Bitola

The series of trainings for special educators continued in November 2021 with two more trainings that took place in the primary school “Maca Ovcharova” in Veles and the primary school “Koco Racin” in Bitola. The special educators from the Bitola primary school “Gjorgji Sugare” joined the training in Bitola. 58 special educators actively participated in the trainings in Veles and Bitola.

With the idea of bringing capacity development closer to social professionals, our project team organized three trainings on “Occupational therapy in a school environment” for special educators, special educators, pedagogues, psychologists and other specializations in schools for rehabilitation and education of students with special educational needs. The trainings were held by trainer Stojan Andonov, with over 40 years of experience in rehabilitation and health care, and Marija Marinaku, project leader and expert with more than 25 years of professional experience in training and capacity building in the areas of social inclusion / disability / activation / social work / social services and social policy design.

In the period October – November 2021, the project organized and held five trainings for special educators, with more than 180 participants.
